I’ve been going to Whiskey Cake now for over a year, and I’ve yet to be disappointed. The service is always on point, the food is very consistent, and the best part is the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. It definitely has a cool, trendy vibe and the patio is perfect for those summer days. Can you tell I’m a huge fan? Also, good news, I was driving by and I saw they are building a new location in Irving, TX.
The restaurant offers an enticing menu, some of my fav’s include the OMG burger, chicken and waffles, and for starters I like the cheddar & jalapeño drop biscuits that they serve with sausage gravy. Make sure you save enough room for dessert because when you go to Whiskey Cake, you have to eat the “whiskey cake”. It’s moist, with a toffee torte covered with bourbon anglaise, spiced pecans, and topped with whipped cream.
